The post-mortem and traces of corporeality

In my exhibition “The post-mortem and traces of corporeality" carry out an analysis of post-mortem and traces of the human body in relation to space and objects after the deceased. I search and try to find the traces left on the objects by the human body. I analyze the fates and stories of artifacts that were left behind and the relatives retained as memories of the deceased. I observe the post-mortem spaces which are about to be liquidated. I notice that after the death of the loved ones, the objects left behind are perceived in a completely different way. The space after the deceased person seems, as never before, unusual and intimate. Nothing recalls memories like an object that remained. I analyze them. In my artistic work, I emancipate these objects and extract them from obviousness. These objects recall one of a kind stories after the dead ones. Furthermore in my dissertation I present the relationship of an elderly man with a technological object. I consider how human traces change in reference to the virtual world. My artistic works are illustrated by both the post-mortem objects and virtual ones, that does not carrry human traces anymore. The artistic works are presented at the exhibition named: “The post-mortem and traces of corporeality" in the form of objects, enlarged photographies, animations and video works.
